Overall idea

An AI-powered practice assistant that analyzes live practice sessions, compares one’s performance to multiple professional recordings, and sheet music standards, and produces feedback on sections that need improvement (whether it is intonation, dynamics, articulation, phrasing, etc.). The system will train on professional recordings and sheet music editions.

This idea sits around a machine learning system, where it analyses and generates feedback for music(Just like how ChatGPT can analyze writing and improve it!). As a user of this program uploads a recording, the ML system would find patterns (like things the musician over time for that user, in addition to identifying incorrect notes and other concrete insights. I think that distinguishing between a technical error and an interpretive choice is where intelligence matters most, as professional performers make intentional interpretive choices. In contrast, beginners and intermediate players are not yet aware of this idea. The system would need to be able to tell the difference.
